Default FMIC Build!!!

So a while ago the owner of the shop that I work at gave me an intercooler from one of our rx-8 turbo kits. So after a while of it sitting on my welding table I decided to go ahead and start on it. Here are some pics.

Now that one side is done, I will start on the other tomorrow!

funny that you say that. We have 15 of these intercoolers here at the shop that we cant sell with our rx-8 kit due to the acid spots on the end tanks. I was talking to the owner and he might let me build them and sell them on here with IC piping for cheap. We will see though.

Are you making it so that it sits in front of the rad with the pipes coming down from where the stock IC sits? And so that no cutting is needed? If so, ill probably be in for one.

Heck I'll make it even easier for you. I'll just take one with the pieces. You won't even have to weld it up

Very nice work, keep us posted I am sure you will get a lot of interest. Was looking at the SFR FMIC so would be interested in the spec of your set-up.
