87_951_turbo, please let me know if you are planning on getting rid of your fogs.....new to the 944 world and had a hell of a time pulling my fogs out to replace the bulbs....broke some clips and now I am possibly thinking about just buying the european lenses if I can't find a reasonable set of used.

Thanks

<--------

The ones on my car came from OG Racing. They are no longer making them, but I was told that the AIR units were copies of them. Maybe not?

I got the second to last set that OG Racing had. They are fiberglass and mount in the stock brake duct position but feed a 3" diameter hose in the back. Replacing the fog lights with brake ducts was my initial intent but there was too much stuff behind each light to make this practical. Routing a 3" diameter hose was impossible without moving a lot of stuff. On the left side is the alternater cooling duct and on the right, the power steering cooler. The OG units installed easily but are rare now that they are discontinued.

The fog light location is not ideal for running a 3" hose. I have large rectangualr fibreglass ducts that mount to the bumper down low where the smaller stock ducts were mounted. That a much easier adn cleaner route for the hoses. The duct were on my car when I got it, so not sure of the source. Can post pics if someone wants to identify them.

I agree. The "OG" style is a lot more practical and functional. I have both installed but only have hose on the OG units.

I didn't have those issues, mainly because I have a manual steering rack on my car and the alternator is moved to a different location due to the AC delete bracket.
