Thanks - but 996 turbo wheels have a lower offset (et40 +-), so there would definitely be some issues with the bodywork... I am more concerned with the inside edge due to the high offset.

I use the 996 18X11ET45 Rears on my car for the street. For the track, the rules limite width to 10" so I use 18X10 ET65, plus a 7mm spacer for an equivalent ET58

From memory those guards were massaged on Richard's car? 11's with et of 45 would have to and run some decent neg.
FWIW I have 10's with et 60 but have got slicks on there which are about 300 wide (at a guess). I run 2.5 neg and they just squeeze in. Pretty stiff suspension and a taller tyre than R spec.

Its a TurboS so already had the rolled rear fenders. With 285 tires there was the slightest rub on the outside shoulder on full compression. Some encouragement with a sledgehammer and wood soon fixed that, but no fender flaring per se.
From all the experimentation on my car, a 50offset rear is just about optimal, but its different for different cars.
I am running about 1.8 negative at the rear which is the most I can get on my car.

I test fitted them without tires & it looks as though they will work. The face of the rears was flush with the plane of the fender, though this should tuck in nicely once the suspension is fully compressed.
I will confirm once the tires are installed & they are on the car.
Thanks all.
