Question Another 18" rim question, 18x9 et47 front?

'87 951
18x10 et57
18x9 et47

I've used search, but most the info I find is about the rears, so I think they will fit. I most want to know about the fit in the front. The ones I'm looking at are hollow turbos, I didn't know they came in et57 and et47 dose this sound right?

Thanks all,

Taylor

I believe there are only 2 types of hollow spokes- the first one is the twist type (Technology I) which will fit earlier cars. The second one is the latest generation Turbo Technology (Technology II) with front/rear offsets of 50/62. Both types are 8/11 X 18 (F/R). So if you are looking at the first generation hollow spokes then for an 87 951, the back definitely will not fit- fronts maybe. The second generation hollow spoke will fit your car better with the offsets I mentioned but the rears may need a little persuasion as yours is not an S model so it doesn't come with rear fenders already rolled.

Someone else may chime in here but revise your search, you should find enough info about wheels/tires fitment issues.

Thanks for the info. Turns out only the rears are hollow, and et52. After a bit more looking, I think they will not fit on an '87.

Anyone want to trade (996.362.124.00) 17x7 et55 for (996.362.126.05) 17x8.5 et50? I need to go wider up front.

Thanks,
Taylor
