Here's some cool video of my first time running the "Roval" at California Speedway. For those of you that have never driven on a super speedway with high banking..... it's very strange feeling for sure. You actually get light headed.

I can tell you one thing.... TV doesn't do Nascar justice.

My best lap time of the day: 1:50.3

What a weird track. It seems to go from Auto X to Colosseum!
Nice going Tony and the video quality is good too. What are you shooting on?
Do you find that the grip is more or less on the banking. Obviously the massive 'On Camber' would help but then again it wants to throw you right all the time. What wheel tire combo was on your car at the time?
The GTR guy must have been going crazy wondering what was in your car. Still he had about the same straightline speed as you if not a tiny fraction more. Power to weight.

What a rush Tony!!! I totally dig the way you were 'on the hunt' each lap - tube frame, V8, V12, doesn't matter... Great driving! You had to be the fastest car out there?? I'm also wondering if you know anything about the yellow 510 at the beginning of the 2nd clip? Being an old Datsun diehard, seemed a little too peppey for a 4-banger.

Looks like too much fun. I am definitely planning on doing this (track) at some point.
