If more people knew about them, they wouldn't make this list...

I'd put the MR2 turbo on the list.

Saw that. Sort of made that discovery myself about a year or so ago. Always wanted a 85-89 911 coupe and was starting to look. I had a 944 back when they were new but a NA. My research diverted some unknown way and ended up with an '86 951 and here I am... Just seemed alike a lot of potential for the $ and also a way to reconnect with some old Porsche pals from old days.

It's on the "less than $5,000" list. I've seen a few for less than 5K, gen 2 models.

Meh ... I dunno. Clean, near-factory Turbos still seem to bring $7-10k, especially the later years.

I've had 3 cars on that list.
-2000 B5 Audi S4 (500hp/600tq)
-2001 GTiVR6 stock
-86 951....with stuff.......that would be cooler if I could get it all working.

The Audi S4 won't be an "under $10k" car for long after you buy one. It can suck $5k out of your pocket in a heart beat.

If more people knew about them maybe I wouldn't have to sell my black car for less than $6K
