Hello,
No chance of anyone putting a rock through the glass as they would have to get past my 6 dogs so all is pretty safe and far from the road as we live on a small 6 acre farm.
More pictures below of the Turbo cup as requested, it is an original 1987, one of only 19 ever imported into South-Africa that raced in the series during the late 1980's. Next year I intend to restore it to full concourse condition with race graphics like "pinky" the one in the Porsche museum.

Very, very nice! What are you going to put in the vacant bay? The phonies on the cup car look very shiny, almost chrome like. What type of paint is it? Are they stock tire sizes on the cup car as well? I am dreaming of a triple car garage with my '86 turbo, a '87 (G50) 911 cab, and a Ferrari 308 (like the one Magnum used to drive!). That would be the only non-Porsche allowed.

Hello Mike,
Wheels are original magnesium turbo cup ones which came painted like this from factory, it is like a pearl white sort of paint, they are 8J and 9J with 225/50/16 and 245/45/16 tyres.
I currently have 4 Porsches being 1987 944 turbo cup, 1965 (912 chassis) converted to 911 RSR Jagermiefler spec, 1987 911 3.2 Carrera coupe and 1977 911 3.0 coupe. The 3.0 and the 3.2 are currently for sale and I would love to buy a 993 to fill the space.

I must have seen that exact 944 racing in the Turbo Cup series at Kyalami in the late '80s. The 944s were eerily quiet compared to some of the other cars such as the locally modified BMW that outperformed the factory prepped BMW M1 ProCar.
Your stable of Porsches must be an absoulte pleasure, especially playing on the roads between Durban and 'Maritzburg, if you can stay away from the sugar cane trucks.
Cheers,
Richard

Hello Richard,
no chance that you would happen to have any photos or race programs that I could get copies of from those turbo cup races you were at in SA?? I am currently doing research on all 19 cars including their full race history and current whereabouts. Happy to pay cost to make copies if you have photos etc.
Porsches here are fantastic to drive on SA roads.

That is very nice. A few years the construction services part of our company did a commercial storefront for a new residence in N. Dallas. Guy was a Ferrari collector. Back wing of the house was all storefront and granite 2+ stories high. Looked like a private Ferrari museum. Had an elevated mezzanine party area in the middle of it. Think this wing only was about 8-10,000 sq. ft. Needless to say it was a BIG new home. Saw the blueprints but never made it out to the job site. My buddy at Ferrari Dallas said the guy had like 8 cars. (Plenty of room to show them all). I’d be happy if just had a real work shop myself.

I found only one picture, or should I say at least one?
The others are to provide some historic reference.

Johnny,
You probably know this, but there are a bunch of 944 racing pictures at http://www.porscheclubsa.co.za/Porsc...256FF00054C8D8
Not sure if any of them were Turbo Cup or not.
