Awesome product for a problem without any real solution. Best of luck with production and thank you for offering something truly needed in our community.

Hi Chris,

Thank you for the good words and thoughts! Figured we could help our family of Porsche's last a bit longer. Seems there is a lot of good work in other areas and saw this TT predicament as a good place to focus on.

Brian and Dana,

Will do! Thanks!

The bearings look awesome! Please add me to the list, this has been a 'to do' item for some time. Thanks.

Hi Ron and Julian,

Sent you both a PM putting you both on the list.

If anyone else is interested please post or PM me. I will reply to you with a PM. Don't want to piss people off by bumping this thread up too much.

Looking forward to Chris's report of the installation coming soon!

Please put me on the list! I will be doing the clutch soon, and have been thinking how great it would be to replace the TT bearings.

Thanks!

I have recently purchased a 951, it has a sqeek that is very apparent in neutral and may still be there under load. It tails out when you dis-engage the clutch as the prop shaft spins down. It must be associated with the torque tube or the main shaft in the gearbox, according to the P/O it is common to turbos and S2's. These bearings wouldn't have been designed to eliminate such an issue would they?

I'm ridiculously interested. I bought a new to me torque tube with the last clutch job, and it's got a noisy bearing (shocker I know) so I was planning on rebuilding my old one... toss me on the info list.

Hi Barks944,

A bit confused on what issue this is, a noisy bearing in the TT or trans?

These bearings units are beefed up versions of the original design. Don't know if that will help such an issue your describing.

Cheers,
