All looks excellent.
Lets get her up and running so we can prove the stability/function of that mount.
Well I had that mount and 'tiny' turbo on for a month or so. Did 2 trackdays also. No issues were seen with this setup....car not so good now...

Well maybe because my turbo is a little bigger the oversized turbine stress that will be put on the mount may cause it to fail.
Or who knows, the cookie monster may have something to do with the failure.
Apparently its a secret....

Anybody running the CEP mount with power steering? My steering shaft is hitting the %^#@ mount. How much clearance do you guys have?

I am obviously running the LR Ultra Mounts (w/ no shims = -10mm), which is likely causing the issue... but why is it so damn close to begin with? /rant

Steve, that just takes a very small amount of grinding. Easiest of the problems. You either shim or grind, no terrible consequences either way. Looks great!

Thanks. That's what I was originally going to do. It doesn't seem like it will take all that much but I'd like to have a decent amount of clearance there for obvious reasons. Since these are not solid mounts I'm a little weary to cut things so close. TBH I will probably take a little off of both. I suppose a die grinder or dremel will get in there nicely...

The short answer is, yes you can clearance the arm with a dremel or file, you only need it not to hit, you do not need a massive anount of room.

The long story is, The problem is the low NON compatible engine mount, why would you expect two seperate products from two different companies work in harmony? Why not contact CEP?

Dave, as referenced in my original post I understand the low mounts are contributing to the issue, I just wondered how tight it was for people running stock height, that's all.

Thanks, I will do it the right way and shim up the engine mounts I guess. I'm just frustrated I never thought of this potential issue over the past 6 months of slapping this thing back together!
