Default Installed new lip spoiler..

Sick of forever repairing my previous front lip spoiler that stuck out way too much, I decided to change to this one you now see on my car. I seen it first when a guy on the GBporscheclub forum put up a post of it on his car and I was sold! Best thong is it was only 29 euro brand new! It's off a Seat Leon Cupra and it fits just a treat...only minor trimming on the end when fitted....I'm very happy with the look/finish.

That's exactly what I am looking for. My car barely gets on the trailer as it is, so I dare not install the more conventional ones, and don't want to be foerevever replacing them either.

Does it sandwich between the batwing and the bumper cover, or sit under it? How does the fastening system work? Is it fiberglass or polyurethane?

Where do you buy them from?

I had similar problem with my old splitter everytime I drove into my garage it scraped and chipped the front due to the driveway angle. I dont have the batwing on my car. I have it screwed up into some of the original fixing points aswell as directly into the underside lip of the bumper. It's polyurethane. I'll take more pics later and you will see how it looks from underneath/fixings etc.

Pretty much...done in 30 mins or so..

As there are no Seat dealerships in the USA ( at least I dont think so ) They will have to be got from dealerships in any European country. It cost me a mere 29 euro brand spanking new and I'm delighted with it....

If anyone wants one I can arrange getting it and shipping it over....just pay the price of the item and shipping costs...

The Focus guys like this splitter too. I haven't been able to find it here in the US for a decent price. I've found it >HERE<, but I don't know if they're reputable or not. Considering when I click the checkout button a warning about the certificate comes up, I have my doubts. It also says that shipping is around $50.

$95 for splitter + $50 shipping seems pricey alright. It weighs hardly anything so shipping should be much cheaper than that even with it being well packaged...that can be got here in Ireland for 29 euro....about $35.

John,

I like to run the batwing and the under engine panels. From the pictures it looks like it can be made to work with both. Would it be possible to check out a price to buy and ship one to USA 64064?

Thanks Richard

Richard - Leave it with me a few days and I'll get a ballpark on shipping costs....shouldn't be too much as it goes by weight not size. It's 29 euro for the splitter...about $37 thereabouts...plus whatever shipping will be...

I bought one a couple of months ago from the local Seat dealer but noticed, as every one can see from the pictures, that it isn't possible to reinstall the batwing without cutting it, so it's been laying in my garage ever since.

Thom,

I would absolutely be re-installing the batwing, if I went this way. From the pictures it looked like it could be made to work. Did you try it or Is it so far off its just not going to work?
