Default Cup holders...

Any ideas for these that are not purchased from Walmart? I would really like to have some cup holders that look good, as I spilled an abnormally large soft drink all over myself when I hit boost today.

There is this, but the real reason is Porsche was trying to tell you to stop eating and drinking in the car, and you should listen to them.

I never eat in the car, and normally when i have a drink, its a screw-top bottle. Texas gets extremely hot in summer with no A/C, so a drink is sometimes a necessity lol.

In my humble opinion, trade the Porsche and get a minivan. They got no place in these cars if you drive it like it should be driven. Heck, I wont even let a squeamish looking passenger in. Your only one good corner away from a detail shop if you do! [Some things even I wont do-very short list]

It's the same as Southern Florida heat. I've dealt with both. I agree with Adam. It would be nice to have something for those rare times when a holder is needed. Freezing *** Cola in your lap is not my idea of "cooling off".

Ok, you guys are right. Been to Texas, a lot of straight roads down there. You could drown if you spilled a med. size drink. Never noticed that the pitch of the turbo changed so much tho. By the way, Theres a deal on rubber floor mats at NAPA.

They're getting really hard to find now, but the VW Passat 16v's from '90-'92 came with a really nice accessory drink holder that holds 2 drinks. It fits to the side of the center console using two screws. I got my last one from www.parts4vws.com. Unfortunately they've shut their doors and this parts is NLA. Call around to some VW places like ecstuning.com and a few others and see if you can dig one up. Or hit the junkyards looking for one.

If you find one in a junkyard (or mulitples) buy as many as you can!
