Yeah, for a reliable crimp, you need to use a tool specifically made for the terminals. If you have a list of the manufacturers and part numbers in the kit, you should be able to look up the recommended tooling numbers on the manufacturers web site. There are a few aftermarket companies like Greenlee that make some quality ratcheting crimpers with interchangeable dies for specific terminal types

i have a more basic one i thought it was a jay car but i i cant find it just now this will give you guys the idea of what the jaws look like . mine dosn't have the mega machanical advantage set up but you dont realy need it
