99,99% of 968 part numbers start either 944 or 951

Sucks, it was sold to me as an advanced stealth 951 maf
I suppose you still made a good deal. 968 version of Bosh MAF was only used with 968 and Audi RS2 models, so it is quite rare and sought after item.

Yeah that is not a common part. The guts are pretty easy to find but the housing with the plastic screens are only found on the Audi RS2 and 968. Rebuildable though, and they seem to work fine with some of the plastic fins broken out. The more common MAF from this era uses a metal screen like a 928 MAF, these can be found on Audi 200/UrS4/S6, and some Saabs and Volvos. Fezza too. AFAIK the sensor is the same but the housing is different on those.

Audi guys pay top dollar for that unit... It is one of the few mods that can be done to the common 12v V6 2.8
