Default Look at what Santa dropped off last night:

An '89 2.8 Liter 951. With the Super 75 on there, it pulls like one bad mother and just keeps on going! Anyway, I'm off to pick up some temp tags so I can enjoy the car while I track down a catalytic converter to pass emissions and get my final plates.

Fantastic!! Do you have any engine specs, other than the 2.8 (What pistons/rods were used)?

I'd love to come see it next time I'm in town..

Maybe Josh can set him up with E85, and give you a run for your money...

probably would beat me with my current engine. Who knows though im 2600 lbs and will crank up the boost. I hope he does run e85 and turns up the boost. Should be a rocket.

Pics later when I'm not lazy. The engine bay isn't all pimped out or anything and I like it and the interior pieces didn't spend much of their life inside the car, so it's pretty clean and hopefully my camera phone can do it justice. I will dig up build specs too, last night I found the slip with the piston and rod specs. The DMV or whatever was rather garbage, the machine had already run out of numbers for me to take, so I figure I'll be there about an hour before they open tomorrow morning to avoid the ridiculous line that had accrued by the time I got there today...

I'm not sure which part of town you're in, but in Littleton, on south Kipling (IIRC, maybe Wadsworth), there is a "secret" DMV location. Its just a quicky stop, so they don't do license testing or anything....but the lines are usually very short (Well, 5 years ago, when I lived in Littleton )

If you're just getting plates, and you already have your emissions, that would be the place to go.

If you're trying to go to the one on 20th and pierce (somewhere in there), you'll have to bring a shower bag, and a change of clothes.... That place is ALWAYS packed
