Hey Matt. Not sure if I'm going to hang out around here for all the historic races / concours etc or not - but if I do go, then yes, lets convoy.

My search for a 993tt was interrupted by the purchase of another C4S... Still looking for a tt, but this C4S was too good to pass on.

The suspension on the 944 is a full Koni "showroom stock" set up, which is much the same as the M030 but with adjustment for both rebound and compression. It's a really awesome set up & not too harsh at all.

I also need to give props to my trusted Wrench, Eniac. He has performed just about every single modification I've done to this car - both performance and aesthetic. Everything has always worked first time & the care he takes on the car is a testament to his enthusiasm. Also to my good friend Disasterman - for having the best equipped 'private' race shop around and the generous welcome he always extends.

Very, very nice. Where did you get that wing and did you have to buy the whole rear hatch? Where did you get the power steering tank?

I used the original hatch & had the spoiler pieces installed during the restoration. The spoiler pieces are from a late Euro turbo. I also had the hatch glass tinted while off the car.

The power steering pump is a Forge unit.

Your car is way to nice to live in Michigan. You should keep it in my garage here in San Diego!

I was pretty impressed at how the car looks outside, then I saw the engine bay pics...

"Oh my god... -It's full of Stars!"

Seriously beautiful!

(although is that a little catch-can throw-up on the passenger side strut-tower?)

I wonder if that's the same as I found on mine...? (the rear shock on the right is the one I have being rebuilt as I type this)

You know, Nile green is one of the only colors I've seen on these cars that occasionally makes me look at my car and think: "you know, Crystal Green Metallic is nice, but...."

that's an absolutely gorgeous car.

Keith - good eye... That engine bay picture was taken prior & the area on the strut tower has been taken care of. It was that way when I purchased the car & it must have been a spew from the PS reservoir. Odd.

After being in the body shop for such a long time, the engine bay needs a little detailing (happening today, I think).

Yes - your shock seems to have the same 2 adjustment locations as mine.

Amazing. Your attention to detail is noticeable and your taste is very good. Your car has re-inspired me. I can't wait to get my 968 mirrors and handles on. Once my mechanical gremlins are taken care of I will start saving for some killer wheels like those Ruf pieces. Kudos!
