Getting close! - IT'S ALIVE! (9/9/11)

If I didn't have Chicago to come back to (I love Chicago) then I'd still be in Seattle. If it was anywhere else other than Chicago, I would NOT have returned to the midwest.
Then there are the roads... oh... the roads... some great fun out towards Carnation... I used to go for fun motorcycle rides or drives in the car on my lunch break (I was in Redmond, I imagine you can guess who I worked for..)
Some days I really miss living out there.

Snapped a better picture today, probably won't turn it over until next weekend. Working on cleaning the garage at the same time in preparation for moving.

They all have zip ties on them.
Fellow rennlister also pointed out I put my IAT sensor pre-intercooler so I'll have to move that. I just had the bung there for the banjo bolt so I figured I would use it without really thinking about it.

IT'S ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Two weeks (exactly) shy of two years being apart for what started out as pulling the intake to fix some vacuum leaks. The "while you're in there" bug bit me bad
Celebration was short lived when I looked under the car and saw about 2 quarts of oil. But, it appears to be coming from the giant turbo oil return banjo bolt, so hopefully that's an easy fix! That and I forgot to refill the power steering (which is empty) so I think that's why my belts are squealing, or it's my balance shaft belt being too tight.
Also, have to work on the tune some and adapt it from a 2.7L tune to a 2.5L tune.

Good work!! Great feeling isn't it? I took about 50 of those startup videos trips back and forth to my car over the course of several days with my camera and the thing never started. After I figured out what was wrong (speed reference sensors not gapped) It started right up but by that time I had no more faith that it would start and was sick and tired of taking those trips back and forth and deleting video clips... Oh well, the memory will just live inside my head I guess. BTW was this the first attempt?
