Default Turbo specialist at Evergreen?

I've seen this guy referenced in other posts but now I can't find the threads ;-(

Does anyone have contact info for the Guy/Shop Evergreen that is supposed to be so good at rebuilding turbos?

TIA

Michael

The quote I've heard is $650 to rebuild a K26/6 as a K27/6. That's a deal to me.

Lindsey Racing charged me I think $350 for a turbo rebuild.

Just to rebuild a K26/6 or K26/8? That's pretty much standard. Evergreen will rebuild your K26/6 into a K27/6 for about double.

I have to jump in here, if only to give Charlier a pat on the back. Anytime I find a vendor that does good work I like to help him out. Charlie just rebuilt a turbo for my car, two for my son-in-law and a couple for another friend. Tell him what you are looking for, performance wise, and he let you know what he would suggest to get there. He's great to work with.

I don't think that $650 to rebuild a k-26 is correct. I would ask Charlie. He fixed my LR 65 that pissed oil past the seal since new by installing a step ring seal, lightened both compressor and inducer wheels so now this thing is rockin all for IIRC ~$400. I had 2 other shops attempt to cure the oil control problem, both claiming they had it fixed but didn't. Anyway Charlie is top notch in my book.
