Post Clear front indicators for sale

I friend of mine have clear indicators for sale. These are 100% bolt on and welded from the original front indicator. Looks awesome and gives the 951 a clean look. The price is 120 dollars/set. Send me a e-mail if you are interested.

i may be interested, but i'm curious as to what the OEM lenses cost. i realize that this is apples and oranges (small production run of the clear ones, etc...) but i'm just wondering.

i'm assuming they are direct screw-in replacement, right?

i'd probably use yellow lamps - have read about using some sort of spray paint on the lamps so you don't see the yellow until they are illuminated....

any pics with them installed?
interesting... <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[burnout]" />

The price can not be dropped It´s not free to produce them though. 90% of the members at 944 Club Sweden got them on their cars now. We produced them only for the club members but decided to release them to others if there is any interests

These are 100% bolt on, just screw them in. Looks great. Here is a picture of them installed on a 951 Cab.

Thats a sweet looking cab. they do clean up the front end a bit, i think they look good. Its not realy a priority for me right now, but i would be interested in a set in the near future. How long do you plan to produce these?

Nocturnal_Breed,

I must check how muck it costs to ship them. I think maybe around 20 dollars for a package like this.

It can sound expensive to buy these lenses, but on the other hand. You will be the only 951 in town with white front indicators

I would buy them, but then my front indicators would be clear and my side front markers would still be orange. that would be very wierd.
If i had a euro front i would be all over them
good luck with the sale...

Shipping over to the US shouldn't be too bad as these are pretty light. Would actually be pretty cheap if a bunch of them were put in one box, shipped to a designated guy and he would break up the box and distribute.

Olli has the right idea for the front side markers on US cars. The Dupli Color paint he mentions is not available in North America. But Testors has the same type of paint so make a trip to the local hobby store.

One could convert the sidemarkers to clear but it would be a chore. You would have to saw off the lens, cast new clear ones, spray paint the inside housing silver then glue the clear lens back onto the housing. Painting them to match the car color is much easier.

How soon will you be in production? i.e. how long after we send the duckets can you get them to me. Are we talking months or weeks?

ELLSSUU,

We have them in stock now. Of course if you organize a group-buy it would be much cheaper

Johan,

The North American guys could probably do that (group buy). I would be willing to get a big box full and then ship to all the individuals as I'm all set up for shipping due to the headlight package I'm selling. I could also supply the required amber bulbs to folks for a reasonable price as I buy bulbs in major bulk.

But before we do this can you send me a sample lens so I can take a look at the quality and fitment? And tell me which resin you are casting this out of as I'm concerned about UV attack from the Sun as well as the bulb. Many people are in sunny southern locals and we don't want their lenses turning milkey in a couple years.

I think we could probably move at least 25 pair on the first shot as trying to find clear turn signals always comes up on the list.

Regards, Dan
