Default Chips question
Hypothetical question, let say I use chips mapped for a k26-8 stock setup on a k26-6 stock, under boost is the car going to be running rich or lean?

I am thinking rich because the k26-8 has a higher flow and the chip is designed to add more fuel to the higher air flow, I am right?

Yeah, it'll add more fuel on the top where the 26/6 normally drops off.

so again hypothetically speaking you wont be running optimal but you will be safe since you are running richer

Lean then rich?

Since the 6 reaches boost quicker than 8 wouldnt it go lean then rich? or is it so little difference that it wont matter?

What kind of chip is it? I have a handful of 26/6 chips in my toolbox.

is a authotority stage II for 88-89 turbo S with banjo bolt 28pin , I installed them on a 88 non S

8 ape chips, none of them were 28 pin 26/6 chips. Sorry.
