Default Fairfield County, CT - Looking for shop recommendations

I have a 1987 951 that is pretty much a 50/50 street/track car and I need some work done on it. With a previous car I used Fairfield County Motorsports in Fairfield, CT and was happy with their work - but they were very expensive. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations?

If I wanted cheap I would be on a Honda forum. It just may not be in my interest to bring my 25 year old car to a place that caters to hedge fund managers that think nothing of dropping huge dollars so they can impress their friends at the golf club. Recommendations appreciated! Thanks.

If you are willing to drive down to North Jersey, my mechanic and friend Rich at R.O.C.S. Auto is a 951 guru. He runs a great shop, has a wealth of knowledge, and did some wonderful work on my 951S

Call Spencer at Speed Sport Tuning 203 730 0311 he does great work . Lots of 944 race car work . He I think still holds the record at Lime Rock for the fastest lap ever in a 944. Tell him Steve Katz sent you he will take care of you

Dan at Hairy Dog is a great guy, excellent work.

speedsport is great as well.

EPL (european performance labs) might talk to you but they seem to be preoccupied with 900 hp lambos these days.

Drew, Spencer and Dan are all top notch, and I'd trust their work any time. However, I bet you'll find that they all cost about the same. Chris Musante is also another great guy.
