Default LS6 951 > shooting for 450RWHP :-)

It's almost done...

Previous... 417RWHP:

F-16 Cam/TI valve spring/retainer package
LS6 intake
78mm TB
75mm MAF

Now...????

CNC ported heads
Mill heads .030
Same F-16 Cam/TI valve spring/retainer package
Lighter valves
Notch pistons
FAST 102 intake
FAST 92mm TB
90mm MAF

Holding breath....

Isnt this more suited for LS1Tech.. ?

I am shooting for 370whp or so on my LS1.. cam, long tubes and the tune will probably get me there. Was about to buy a set of take off 243 heads from a crate LS6 but changed my mind, i think with even the stock 243 heads i will make well over my goal.. i dont want to be spinning tires everywhere so i wanted to keep a horsepower cap on my build .

Can't wait to see some fresh video of this car on the track soon Tony. With all the recent improvements I'm thinking you'll be waving goodbye to the 996 Cups and chasing down the 7's.

Btw I love the idea of cutting the head to do this flycutting. I may steal that with a junk s head.

who cares about horses per liter? thats irrelevant!
weight hp, torque and powercurve is whats relevant.

my megabusa, had almost 220hp NA.. on 1.3liter.. so take that! since it was a pissingcontest.

Should be close. I'm @ 453/466tq and a pretty easy set-up. What are you doing for injectors? I was maxing out the stock ones at that HP level and switched to 30lb ford injectors.

What, no turbo lag, blown head gaskets, and fried con-rod bearings?
