Have you got any good pics of your doors Filip? Do you know how much lighter yours are from stock and what's your car's overall weight?

Patrick, I can tell you that my stock COMPLETELY GUTTED doors without glass were 37lbs. My fiberglass doors with handles and added aluminum door sill is 12lbs total. Huge weight loss there. And in one of the most important locations to lose it.

I'm 90% sure they're interchangeable. Dear god the stock doors are heavy. I finally unloaded a pair I had been lugging around from house to house since 2008!

I'm looking to some alternative to steel doors. Looks like someone with a highly modded 968 is getting some carbon ones made up and I’m looking at getting a set but of course need to know if they fit. I have a set already but they still need some work and are probably at best an 8 out of 10 fit. Stupidly light though. I’ll probably sell them.

EDIT: Ah great thanks Mark. You beat me to it.

Patrick,
check out Marek's doors from Poland. A friend of mine bought a set for his 968 race car. Quality is good

Looks good for a racecar Olli...from what I'm led to believe the guy we've found will be doing an even better job and in Carbon.

Is that price for both doors Olli? If so, very nice. (I understands it's in Euro's)

I am restoring a 1992 968. The left side door's seal (the seal that wraps around the outer door) is in really bad condition.

I was checking on 944's door seal part # and that of 968. I believe they are different, yet both 944 and 968 doors seem identical.

The 968 door seal wraps around the door. The 944 door seal wraps only the top half part, right?

Please advise.

If forum members have a spare LEFT side 968 door seal in excellent condition, please let me know.

Thank you very much.

I know when my car was parked next to Ramius665s 968 I noticed the mirrors on my car drooped a little compared to the 968. I'm running 100% factory mirrors bought brand new from Porsche.

Yeah but they sound awesome when they close.

I'm assuming that you can't really run anything but the stock doors unless you have a roll cage, for the side impact protection?!
