Were you running an open differential or some type of spring lsd?

I've lost count of how many times it's happened to me.

Do you just side step the pedal? If so that is the problem. I modulate it about 50% for a few feet then let it hp

These differentials are NOT designed for drag race type launches. Get a Mustang 5.0 for that. We have seen this in 944s with bone stock engines.

the car has a spec IV clutch and pp and it shatters a lot very difficult to modulate, I have not been able to master it, yes when it grabs it grabs, well here is the story my nephew bought a evo-x and gave me a ride, he show me the way he launches gas pedal all the way down and kaboom release the clutch, well you guys can imagine what happened after I tried something similar on the 951

Side-stepping the clutch is just asking to break things... regardless of the car. Learning to pre-load will take the slack out of the drivetrain and help keep things from shattering.

Evo never break, just tell him to keep hammering it.

You should take it to a Dyno so you can safely run up the car.

Like the shot at 4:50 were the car jumps off the rollers even with two guys sitting in the trunk. Next shot, two BIG guys sitting in the trunk.

I'm guessing that isn't just a axle?

How should you launch a 951 at the drag strip?
