Well I'm not a racer and there aren't any super secret parts on my car. I just tell them the basic list because I want to be a humble guy.
Nothing worse than watching that guy who brags about his car constantly get beaten by a gtp or something

I don't bother unless it's someone who knows 951's and track usage. I've worked hard to keep my car looking mostly stock. It would take someone who knows these cars and how mine is different from stock, as well as what I've done for track reliability/usage to appreciate what's going on with my car.
It's a rare person who appreciates that so much of the car is easily serviceable track-side, or that I keep it dialed down to 350rwhp because that's the sweet spot for a happy street/track 951, or that I've got heated sport seats because they hold you really well on track and there's nothing better on the 4 hour drive back from watkins glen on a fall weekend than heated seats.
The list goes on...

11" would have been smarter, but oh well.
I've considered taking these off the street car in favor of something different, and putting them on the track car. Track rubber is still pretty avail in that size, I think.

Mine's totally stock.

The stock "stealth" look attracts all types of coffee can imports. Fun enough though! Isn't it really all about boosting, and the smile that occurs from it? Whatever mods it takes(in budget?!) I use a lot of duct tape and appliance parts in that there engine.

+1! Oh man...I had a turbo Saturn I would do that with.
As for the 951, while I haven't done much aesthetically, it is enough to cause those not familiar with the 951 to think it's a newer car. I find myself trying to convince people it's an '86 much more often than they want to know about its mods.
To a non car guy, I'll usually just say, "yeah, I've modified it fairly heavily". I tend to be an open book to car guys...unless I'm at the track, where everyone seems to be of the opinion that a modified 951 is like a ticking time bomb..

I've been a serious racer all my life.
Motorcycles, cars, sailboats, RC cars, you name it, I've won (or been a contender to win) a class championship or two, or ten, in all of them.
I lie like a rug - "Gee I dunno, it's bone stock"
It's an ingrained habit with racers to keep your speed secrets...secret.

Three Wheelin'
To another car enthusiast I'll talk about my car but when I am talking to a customer(I'm a car salesman), and they ask what I drive, I just say it's an old 4 cylinder
