Take it for a spin, if the car pulls hard down worry about it. Also, are you still using the AFM or have you gone to MAF? 300 whp isnt bad if you are still on the afm..
The car went in diffrent shop from last dyno check. The 300tq came before the shop change the wastegate from a 17 pnd to a 6 pnd. The car is running a TEC-S. Im thinking the engine is less than 500 mile on it. Those number should come up after a few more miles. The car pulls runs good so far.

1. that's a ton of power on a Mustang dyno.

2. it's not a V8.

3. be happy.

4. life is good (and you might really learn this if you don't stop reving the f_ck out of the sum bitch).

LOL, yeah I hear mustang dynos reflect 10-15 % lower than Dyno Jet. Something to do with aerodinamics factors and some other things with the weight calculations.

279rwhp on a mustang dyno
puts you about 316-320 rwhp on dynojet

Mustang is a better dyno to tune for real world performance.

I have a bone stock 86 951, dynod at 191hp at the wheels (210bhp)

With just guru racing chips and 3bar fpr and shimmed wastegate, peaking at 15-16psi, I dynod 250hp at the wheels, or about 275bhp on the same dyno same day install.

Your car should be making closer to 365bhp if everything is tight and tuned right.

another reason to just go to a local drag strip and take off easy and get a MPH. That will tell you definitively how much HP you are making.

Dynos are only good for reading curves and making changes using the same dyno. Comparing numbers to other dynos is a waste of brain cells IMO

Please don't turn into a dyno queen. We have enough of them around here already.

It's a tool to use to help you get the best performance out of your car. I try to use the same dyno and operator every time I use one and I don't typically share my results with anyone. If you want bragging rights, let's take it to the track.

I agree, at the track is where it is, but looking at numbers is were you realize if the money spend on a 24 year old car was well worth it.
