I know the guy who's car is in the photos. Unfortunately the entire front end of the car was recently replaced and the whole car was painted and assembled like a month ago.

I'm not sure of the extent of the damage but hopefully nothing got bent up too bad!

Looks like when he crossed over the crown in the road, the suspension completely unloaded, and he couldn't turn the car.

I don't know the guy and don't condone his actions but I do hope he is OK. Yes he made a mistake and yes he could have taken someone else out but everyone makes mistakes. Someone posts pics like this and so many start pointing fingers acting like they drive like Schumi and never make mistakes. I am glad there are many expert drivers here able to give advice but give the man a little bit of a break.

He may be a rennlister and a very nice guy. That being said he may be a tool also but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt since he chose a great car to own and obviously takes care of it. If he is on these forums I hope he posts with the outcome. It looks like a nice car (looks identical to mine apart from the plates). I hope it's just minor damage. This is supposed to be a community. It's good to be supportive of our fellow 944 owners.

To the owner, if you're on these boards, let us know how things turn out!

Was that from the last time he crashed his car?

Yes he made a mistake and yes he could have taken someone else out but everyone makes mistakes.
Sorry but that wasn't merely a mistake and darn right he could have taken someone else out. There is absolutely no excuse for this kind of driving. I'm a long time veteran of the Dragon, mostly on a motorcycle and if you've ever come face to face with one of these fools you know what I'm talking about. If you can't control your ride or drive any better than that you have no business on this road.
