89 turbo for sale
For sale is an 89 turbo with a Garrity built 2.8L. It has a total of 3,000 miles on the new engine. I have purchased the Vitesse Stage 3 MAF system with a stage 4 turbo, injectors all yet to be installed . A Lindsey Racing 3” into 4” exhaust is installed and I also have put in a new set of longer wheel studs. I also have a Tial wastegate for the car and a racing dynamics strut brace along with LR intercooler pipes. I know I can’t think of everything that goes with the car at the moment but I have purchased a lot of extra stuff that will go with the sale. As you can see in the pictures of the wheels they are early cup car three piece BBS magnesium wheels extremely nice and expensive. The brake calipers were bead blasted and resprayed yellow, then the backing plates all around were powder coated silver. Seats are light weight racing seats with 5 point harnesses. Oh yes I have the LR big intercooler and header panel for it, a new spliter and LR adjustable timing gear. Like I said I know I am leaving a lot out so if you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask. The reason for the sale is I just don’t have time for this project along with upkeep on a race car. I am losing a lot of dollars on this car but have decided to cut my looses and move on. $10K dollars gets it out of my garage and into yours or the first reasonable offer. Can help deliver within a reasonable distance.

I get some engine bay pictures up soon. It's not anything special as the intake and ajoining parts are removed. It does have Koni's all around, nothing fancy but it gives it a firmer and sportier ride.

Jan Mertens: I am sure it could ship but I am not close to a port so I am sure it would be a little costly to get it there??? I am out of town for the long holiday weekend so I will respond as soon as it get the opportunity.

A few other things the cluth and pressure plate were new with the engine, it has the Kennedy engineering clutch and I also have a set of 968 mirrors (not installed), racing dynamics strut brace, and a brand new splitter in the box, and 3" down pipe.

Forgot to mention the wheels are 18's with 225 and 275's with less than 1K miles on them.
Just wondering is $10,000 high these days for an 89 turbo with a new 2.8L, with new stage 3 Vitesse system and a new stage 4 turbo not to mention all of the other new odds and ends that go with it like LR big intercooler (stage 4), spliter, LR header panel, new tires, Tial wastegate. Just trying to be fair so thought I would ask as I have not priced one for a while.

Still waiting for price on shipping. Just a note i think the price is more that fair for this car that why i inquire if it would be worth it including shipment..
Just to be clear the engine is complete and the turbo, maf and other items mentioned come extra with the car (2 turbo's etc.)?
Grts,
Jan

If I wasn't knee deep into my own 86 rebuild -- I'd be all over this.
