Check out my website I have been manufacturing t304 stainless steel 944 turbo exhaust systems for over 10 years. All quality USA made stainless steel. My company was the very first implant to sponsor rennlist or Porsche fans

So the end flange will bolt up to the factory exhaust no problem?

I've got the Fabspeed cat bypass on my '86. It looks great and sounds great. I assume that it finds a few horsepower too, but hard to know as I changed a lot at the same time.

944 Turbo car should all have 76mm 3.0" catbypass pipes as there is a TON of power for these turbo cars. A 3.0" 76mm mandrel bent T304SS stright through exhaust with the correct Turbo and matching ECU DME chips and decent gas and you are 330HP all day long.

The car is happy fast and gets great mileage and not too loud. Say hello and Happy Thanksgiving to Jason Grim GM Porsche of Beachwood for me. I love my Boxster Spyder that I bought from Penske Automotive!.

I've been looking into buying your 3" system for some time, plus downpipe, but I had a question about something.

One of the kits has a blurb in it about making the waste gate dump flange a 2-bolt to "standardize it" to a 87+(or 88+). Will I need to fabricate anything seeing as how I have an '86 and I would love this if it was completely bolt-in.

Let me know and I will happily get one around Christmas... and hopefully you guys won't be swamped.

Here is the scoop. I designed all 944 Turbo 951 exhaust system parts as simple direct replacement parts for the stock pieces. FRom the TOP turbo discharge tube that is double walled and fails, to the downtube in 3.0" stainless with a slip on rear straight pipe with the 4 bolt flange or Optional high flow cataytic converter to the rear 3.0" 76MM straight through Maxflo exhaust system.

The one and only thing to watch is that early 944Turbos required an Extra 2 bolt flange for the wastegate. I CNC machine them and sell these optionally as factory ones are mild steel and rust away. The later 944Turbos had these flanges installed by the factory. So do not worry ask for a wastegate flange and we insclude hardware.

The only thing we stop manufacturing was the 4" 102mm rear exhaust system for super high output 944Turbos as we have not had an order in years.

So I will have to cut that pipe to fit the flange, correct?

I do have a Bursch Test Pipe I would part with for $100 plus shipping. The WG tie in has been removed and covered as I was dumping to atmosphere.

I love my turbo back Fabspeed exhaust. I wish I would have bought the 4" when it was still available though!

Joe:

So I have this intermittent rattle and I think I have located the source. I had the rear wheels up on car ramps this weekend replacing a fuel pump and saw this:

So I am assuming every time suspension is in compression my rear sway bar comes into contact with the exhaust. This is a stock '89 Turbo sway bar.

That's the reason Porsche put a flat on the standard system at that point, I had to fix a bit of silicon hose around my sway bar there to stop the rattle.
