Houston area 924/944/968/928's
Calling all 924/944/968/928's to come on out to Coffee and Cars on Feb 1 at Vintage Park – on Louetta just a block east of 249. Get there early (6 am) and look for Porsche section in the back.
The forecast says there's a 30% chance of rain, but if it's dry, I'll be there.
Here is their website.

And a map of Vintage Park - See yellow section marked Porsche's. Actually the Porsche guys are usually parked in the orange area just to the right of building G on the map.

You do realize the LSR PCA is sponsoring a DE at TWS this weekend. While many cars do not participate in the DEs, it is a very popular event and many of the local 944s do go have fun. There will be 13 either 944s or 968s at the track, granted not all are from Houston. With may more usually coming up to watch and enjoy rubbing elbows with other Porsche owners.
So if the turn out seems light do not be discouraged as the 1st weekend in March might be better.

I did not look at the LSR PCA schedule first. That will definitely lower the Porsche turnout this week. As I recall, I believe they had one Super Bowl weekend last year as well.

Aglaes,
I had oiling issues, and after checking everything, Jose and I figured it was a cracked oil pick up tube. We pulled the motor sometime last year, and we found that it indeed was a cracked pick up tube. In the process of repairing the pick up tube, I decided to fix some damage on the front end from the previous owner so I have more room between the radiator fans and the engine. The 951 is at the shop and will hopefully be ready in the following few weeks.

I was there - the only 944 again. There were a couple of 928's this morning.
Unfortunately my wife was sick this morning and I had to get back early to take care of some kid stuff. I left at about 8 am.
Maybe next month we can get a few more out. Or some other place/time?

Ah ok, I didn't get to the Porsche section until 8 or right after. I think we should plan a get together some other day. I am very close to getting mine back on the road. Hopefully, I'll be able to bring it. Hope your wife gets well soon.
