Default George D's car on it's way to Phoenix.

Been a long time since I've posted here. The car had to be rescued by good friends and 951 guys, Justin Delfino and Jeff DiCicco. Motorsport did excellent work, but their communication and organizational skills that caused my grief and rescue of my property. Chris White is helping us with the final tuning tomorrow. Long road to finality. Car hauls ***, but needs additional tweaks in the TEC.

A few picts:

Wow beautiful car, it has been a while. Remember drooling over the wing, almost as much as I am now uggghhhh.

What are some of the specs?

3.1 968 block. Wossner, 968 trans with LSD, TEC, vertical intercooler, huge intake now in the left fender, etc.

SLC Mustang dyno hit 550wt with similar hp. The tuning isn't right and the dyno was acting up. Who knows, Jeff DiCicco said it was nuts fast. Second gear at 17psi with 91 fuel smoked the rears. I'll be tuning with Chris White and Jeff tomorrow around 11am.

Dyno's don't really show how the car performes, and Chris's expertise will be surely welcome towards getting this dialed.

Thanks for the comments. This will be a fun 951.

Pic of intake. Garrity's CFM calculations caused this neat engineering piece. The oil coolers should keep oil temps in range. The right oil cooler's fan hasn't come on from temps, but Tucson gets hot in the summer.

There is an electric pump for circulation of the trans fluid through a cooler. This comes on when things get up to optimal heat range.

I'm glad I get to drive it tomorrow! Been way too long.

George's car is definitely a "951 Hall of Fame" candidate & one of my favourites! The sheer depth of engineering there is an inspiration.

I remember seeing in in their shop. Always in various stages of repair/disassembly.
