Help identify a part
my left wheel when you turn makes a knock or when you go over a bump. My friend (who has owned multiple 944s and has a 968 rs) said it's the strut pin on the a arm.
Now what pin is he talking about?
He shook the wheel hard and heard/felt it knock.

Hi Paulyy, your friend could be referring to the ball joint on the control arm. I believe that they can knock and make noise when going over bumps if the bushing inside goes bad.

Most likely the ball joint on the wishbone at the base of the strut. You can buy a replacement kit from the States for about $200AUS for a pair. Pretty simple to replace.
