Hi,

I have a 3" LR exhaust waiting to be installed (with a Fabspeed downpipe).

I have the LR premuffler (which looks to be a vibrant 1795 unit) but I wonder if a larger unit fits under the car.

The LR/Vibrant unit is 4" round. Does a 5" unit fit or it hits the frame ?

I consider a bigger resonator or a Borla XR-1 round muffler (which is also 5" round and 15" long) to kill the noise without hurting the flow (I also have a Borla 40944 muffler for the rear).

I can't now crawl under the car to check by myself...

Hi, I have 3 inch exhaust with two Magnaflow resonators. I do not recall exactly the size of the pre-muffler, but it should be 5 inch from the looks. It fits fine under the car, but I don't know whether the LR pre-muffler is in the same place. in some gears and rpm ranges it still resonates though.
