WTB: 951
Hey guys,
It's been a long time since I've posted in this forum. After 10 years without a 951, I'm ready to get back into one. I've put up a WTB listing in the classifieds and as someone suggested I'm cross-posting here.
https://rennlist.com/forums/vehicle-...944-turbo.html
I'll repost the specifics. I'm looking for a well maintained, stock to mildly modified 951 from any year for use as a (mostly) daily driver. I had a Black/Linen 86 before, but Guards is really calling my name this time. That being said, I'm not super picky.
Please PM or respond to this thread or the marketplace thread if you've got something to sell!

Nice car for about $1500, salvage title, gotta drop the tranny, exhaust, might as well do the rms.
Lotsa work for a salvage car and for $3k, I am sure that person isn't on rennlist's forums to remind them that anytime pulling out the ref/speed sensor to cover that bellhousing hole with some tape.

Drifting
Dropping the trany takes about 1 hour while drinking a beer. The exhaust (only cat and muffler) take another hour on the second beer. The exhaust heat shield, torque tube bolts and starter with wastegate takes the other four in the pack and a bit of time. By noon it should be done.
