Nice to see somebody actually bought the car to get it running... Also nice to see there is another 951 guy somewhat local; many of them have moved on. I am in City of Alexandria and my multi-year stalled 951 track car project is in my garage. Would be good to get back into wrenching on these things if you ever care to have some help...

Appreciate that buddy!

We should definitely get together for some wrenching...I'm currently do the majority of my work in the driveway (don't have a shop at this very moment), but I love working on these cars, it is my life honestly.

I'm currently doing an LS swap on an 86 944 Turbo (the one in my profile pic...crank walk ), working on painting my 87 944 LT1 Swap, and doing some restoration on a 87 944 to sell in the near future...plus this one...and I have 2 924S projects that are on the backburner. So yeah, I like these cars, and I like saving them!

Hope to talk soon!

Wow, you are really getting after it! I am finally getting busy at work again, but we have a long weekend this weekend if you are going to poke around at all. I will PM you my contact info. Hopefully some other locals might chime in. Beerburner wrenches and is in Ashburn; he has an NA. His brother is in NW DC and has a 997, but doesn't wrench.

My house is on the edge of Arlington basically at the Alexandria line off Braddock/King/Quaker. My "garage" is only 10x20 and was built for a Model A. So, any work I eventually do will be outside too. But, I have a garage inside the beltway, which basically doesn't exist!!
