Default Sway Bar Stiffeners

I have been looking for reviews on these and have found nothing. Has anyone ever installed these on stock 951S suspension?

I have them on my 87 951 with 30mm sway bar and all m030 front end. They work well.

+951, also recommend getting a pair of delrin inner sway bar bushing while you're in there.

I put them on quickly this morning and went for a run on a road that I have hear my front tires bottom out on a turn before. Nothing. Nice and flat through every turn. Sharper turn in response. Almost like a new car! What a great, cheap handling upgrade! Totally recommend it to everyone

If you don't already have one, I also recommend a strut bar.

Btw, I used to live in Salinas. I always liked going through Gilroy on my way up to San Jose.

I have them but there is a school of thought that Porsche designed the standard brackets to have some flexibility and strengthening them has an adverse effect on how the A/R bar works.

im not a huge fan of these as they are hiding other issues- usually not enough spring for the tire/speed you are putting the car into. When the car rolls alot due to soft springs, it bends the sway bar mounts. Triangulating these just stiffens the swaybar but transferring the torque to the frame. My opinion- and its that so...- is get bigger springs. The spec car guys have these only on steroids since they are limited to spring sizes. THis usually ends with ripping the mounts out of the frame rail...

On a street car its likely not going to matter, but my lowly n/a spec car on Toyo RRs bent the swaybar brackets even with the triangular stiffener in place (kokeln bars which are knock off taretts). Really need to box in the brackets to stop this and like dan said - next thing to go will be the frame I guess...

Why is it that I posted the question, got only positive responses, then I install and report back a positive review, THEN here comes all of the problems with install them?

When I originally researched how to cure body roll, the consensus was a stiffer front anti roll bar (968 M030). If I bend my frame and my car falls apart, I'll let you know...BTW, I got them from Tarret.

This sucks on a street car with the stiffeners. You end up exploding the sway bar clamps and you loose your expensive delrin inserts, I've done it twice now. Went back to the stock rubber and have yet to blow up a clamp. I suppose exploding the clamp is better than bending the mounts/frame though. The rubber has enough give to make everything happy.

Hmm, has not been my experience after about 10 years with stiffeners, inner delrin bushings and a strut brace.

I have the stiffeners and inner and outer delrin and my stiffeners have bent. After I did it I found that many say that is too much and it needs to have more flex to function.
