Default recommend me a clutch kit/setup

After losing shifting ability while running, I replaced my clutch master and slave. I bled 3 different ways and couldn't get the clutch to disengage. I checked the inspection port and there was a good amount of movement....great. Looks like my pressure plate isn't functioning.

Now I'm looking into clutch kits....

Zims has the cup clutch kit for $550. How much tq can it handle? I'm going stand alone soon and would like to be able to hold 375-400wtq if I wanted.

Any comparible or better kits out there for the price?

Thanks!

I've heard good and bad things about the 930 disc....how much are you putting down?

I emailed Kennedy about their pp, didn't know paragon had them.

Thanks

A properly installed cup clutch will hold 350-400 whp all day unless you are aiming to drag.

Very few 951' make a true 400 whp on a mustang .....Dynojet numbers are inaccurate vanilla sky promises

951's are notoriously over clutched with ridiculous 6 pucks and other associated non sense

best combo is if you are shooting for big up/TQ numbers use a cup pressure plate and re face your existing disc with organic / feramic by Southbend

Thank you!

I'm going standalone and twin scroll bigger turbo....shouldn't have a problem hitting 400, but don't really have a need to go that high...just in case

Where can I get a cup pressure plate?

I've used a KEP PP with a stock Sachs clutch disk for years without any issues. Just to clarify, it's a 951 track car.

What would be a good clutch disk in standard turbo S pressure plate and fylwheel but in 600whp range?

Ak - +1 on the KEP pp and 930 disk here. Pretty much stock pedal feel. I'm putting down a little over 300whp/wtq. Stick with the stock flywheel if you go with this combo (I had mine lightened to 9.5 lbs and dig it, others not so much).

Im running the spec stage 3 both PP and disc. Ive seen a few bad reviews on the spec discs here but I have had no issues at 310whp. I got the car with the same kit and I replaced with it so I cannot comment on pedal feel that kit is what I am used to

Using the 7.5lb billet FW btw
