Will Feather

Well I have seen a couple hitches offered for the 944. The first style that bolts through the spare tire well, and another style that is more of a beam. But from what I can tell, where the receiver comes out, they are unlikely to work with the turbo's rear diffuser.

I have seen a couple turbo's towing in pictures, but unsure of the hitch they have, or custom. Anyone have a setup on their 951? I'd like to tow some wheels/tools to the track.

I used the Curt hitch on my 951 for years without issue. Doesn't work with the euro bumper, only the larger US bumper.

Hmmm bummer, I have a Euro rear as well.

Is that how the Curt mounts, bolted through the bumper?

Thru the bumper and the spare tire well.

As far as I know, none of the hitches will work with the Euro bumper.

That's the Curt hitch.

The issue isn't whether you custom fab something, the issue is the lack of a proper place to mount it with the Euro bumper.

You need to mount up into the stock US bumper support and the spare tire well. If you just mount to the spare tire well that'll rip out...
