Need advice for removing a satan bolt..
Ok, this one has gotten the better of me. The flange that connects the turbo hotside to downpipe. There's a bolt with a nut that's tacked onto the flange from the factory.
Well, I rounded it off trying to get it with a 15mm wrench, from both the top and bottom. I've concluded that either need to fit a socket around it somehow, or cut off the tacked nut. What are my options? It's stuck tight and a wrench is simply not working...I've tried several and have only boogered it up more and more.

I'm having a hell of a time getting the bottom 2 bolts off the crossover to turbo flange, in fact that's when I started removing the downpipe to turbo flange bolt, so I could get clearance to remove those.
Tips and tricks for that?

Lots and lots of PB blaster.
Side note, you can't remove the downpipe with the turbo mounted. It's a stupid design but I don't think there is any combination of tools which allows you to get to that bolt.

Yeah, I had to remove the turbo and downpipe together. Doesn't seem possible to do them separately.
The crossover to turbo was tricky too, but I recall being really patient and using the tips of my fingers and a pair of box wrenches (a stubby and long one).

Turbo water pump is off. I mistyped in my original post, this is NOT the flange between the downpipe and the turbo, it's between the crossover and the turbo. I would have been easily able to get it if the bolt didn't round off. So, looking for ways to get a socket in there....before I cut.
The 2 bottom bolts between the downpipe and turbo are the ones still on, I realize now the turbo has to come off with the downpipe anyway.

Probably not what you want to hear, but this is all way easier if you take the engine out first
I think most of us who've dealt with the thing before would agree that "Satan Bolt" is a pretty appropriate name for that one.

I can pull the engine with crossover attached? I'll be dammed. I was only pulling it because I thought I'd need to for clearance, pulling the engine is the overall goal. All the online guides say to pull it as prep for pulling the engine.
