As the Director of Engineering for Paradox Engineering, I need to correct some of the claims made by HR in regards to our EFI harnesses.

First of all, they are *not* mil-spec. The ONLY reason for this is the connectors. The harnesses are assembled with factory connectors which are not mil-spec. The harness wiring, shielding, and assembly ARE to mil-spec.

Secondly, there is no "fire braid". Rather, the harness is shielded by a layer of crosslinked fluoroelastomer material (a weaved fluoroelastomer) - Viton. This covering offers great fluid resistance to a wide variety of acids, solvents, lubricants, and fuels at high temperatures. It also provides high resistance to abrasion and and impact, and offers flexability at low temperatures without cracking. I am assuming that by "fire braid" you are reffering to a fiberglass covering which is more or less flame retardant. This coating is only good to 200C (392F) instead of 1500+F. The coating is mil-spec (MIL-PRF-46846 Type III, Class I).

The manufacturing is ISO9001:2000 certified. All harnesses are tested, documented, etc.; as per ISO standards.

Harnesses are available with automotive grade PVC wire insulation, or with Teflon insulation.

Harnesses are 100% fully assembled with all factory connectors (except with the correct AMP connectors on the Link side). Provisions (connectors) for ignitors, ballast resistors, etc. are assembled in to the harness.

And best of all, they are 100% made in the USA!

For pricing and availability, please contact HR.
