Default Went crazy

Picked up a 2004 996 C2 Atlas Grey with Black Leather and about $ 9K in options for my every day driver. This car is spunky and the color is really growing on me. Sorry for the bad night time photo. I will try and get a shot of all my rides when the red car comes back. My house is starting to look like white trash in that the value of the vehicles is exceeding the home. Oh well. Priorities.

964 content. My 964 is going to be super sweet and may still be my favorite over the sneaky quick 996. Already seeing sub 5s on G-Tech without red lining it, but my red car is mean and I like mean cars.

You make it sound like you were out grocery shopping.

Oh, if only Christa could see you now. She'd be kicking herself. Congrats!

Doug, why both a 996TT and a 996? Doesn't the 996TT work for daily use?

..and did you win the lottery or marry lucky!?

(There..someone said it.)

No jealousy or bad feeling - but I consider myself smug and successful 'cos I have 'just' a 964!! And I'm sure my neighbours suspect I'm overpaid..

Why do I get the feeling you're in I.T..?

I am weak and need to stay away from any place that sells P-Cars. My rationalization was I do about 20k a year and did not want to run up the TT which I may keep for a while. Wife bought it so what the heck.

Kinda. Lawyer and settled a class action for 18.7 million recently. Gotta do something with my share of that money.

Ideas are not a problem. They had a brand new 360 convertible red with black piped tan interior at the dealer. Wow. That car is the bomb, but out of my range. One day maybe I will get a used one when prices come down.

Cars are getting really exciting right now and Porsche better work hard to keep pace. The Aston Martin, the Gallardo with everyday Audi reliability, Ferrari is coming out with a lower priced entry car, Audi has the Le Mans coming out, Bentley Coupe and etc. There are a lot of choices in the 90k to 150k range. Should equate to some nice used cars here in the next few years.

"the Gallardo with everyday Audi reliability" Are you saying Gallardo's are reliable, or Audi's are unreliable?? I doubt the Gallardo will be as reliable

While I am a Porsche guy, I would have opted for at least a nice Ferrari 355 spider to go with my 964!! By the way, had a ride in a Brand Spaking New 360 coupe with F1 a couple of weeks ago- very nice car!! For half the price of a new 360 coupe though I'd get the 355 spider- there's no way the 360 is 2x as fun (or 45% more fun, taking into account diminishing returns dollar for dollar at that price range...)
