Collector insurance on 964s
Chubb is just crushing me on these 964s... they aren't treating them as the occasional toys they are and just matching the agreed value to a premium number. Their main exposure is my garage burning down and they can't get their head around the fact that I can't drive 6 cars at once.
Who is the best option to insurance a few of these with a wide range of agreed value while also understanding they aren't really being driven that much compared to a regular car that sees 10-15k miles a year? I'm totally fine with mile restrictions per year also.
Thanks for any feedback gents!

Check out Leland-West. My policy (55k agreed, 6k miles/year with occasional commute) is about $60/mo with the PCA discount. I'm sure others will chime in with their experiences, so far L-W has been smooth for me.

I'm using Safeco's classic car coverage right now on my 964. I've got a $50K agreed upon value policy with regular use of up to 10,000 miles and $100 deductible for less than $400/year. Fingers crossed that I never have to use it, but the language in the policy documents clearly states that I don't have to limit use to just car shows, parades, weekends, holidays, etc. Coverage is comprehensive for collision and "other than collsion" damages.

Good feedback so far, thanks!
First quote I'm getting back is Kemper Auto - Classic Collectors under Infinity insurance per my broker.
He's also reaching out to Hagerty and I will probably try a couple of the others mentioned here.
EDIT - Now he's telling me that Chubb may have a classic car product with reduced miles and better rates. Where was this for the last two years buddy?

I do not have a 964 however I also have my Porsche insured with Leland-West. They are ridiculously inexpensive for A LOT of coverage. Their customer service on the other hand is nearly a kin to me telling my 9 month old what I need done.

I'm a Grundy guy. Have 2 cars with them, including my 964. They went to $60k agreed value on my 964. Anything more will require some good documentation to justify. However, $100k total agreed value on 2 cars is around $800 for the year. I don't believe Grundy has mileage restrictions. Only filed 1 claim for a windshield a couple years ago on the 964. No issues getting paid. No change in my premium since.

I have Grundy Collectors insurance and they've been pretty solid thus far.

I have AV with SF. To ensure AV, had to get car appraised, which is good in this market as it set a nice baseline and actually increased my AV. Given the rarity of Minty I would definitely recommend getting it appraised as not everyone is going to get the extreme value a color can bring to a car...
