Cabrio owners - do you unzip your rear window?
I always have, but this year's new rollbar requires some contortions to get to that zipper. The 993 top doesn't use a zip-out rear window but is a different overall design. Anyone have problems from not unzipping? Creases, scuffs, etc?

Always unzip the window, I leave the top down for long periods during the spring and summer,

Interesting...always wondered about this. I have never unzipped. Do you unzip and then drop the top normally or do you do something special with the window during the process? My window is near perfect now and want to keep that way. thanks--Mike

I always unzip the window. I sometimes put a soft towel on top of the window to keep the top from chaffing on the window. Probably too much work for the saving of the window. BTW, I still believe in unzipping to eliminate the folding of the window.

I never unzip and also never leave it open for too long.
I have always been under the impression that leaving it open (even when unzipping) was not great, maybe I need to revisit

I always unzip the rear window and I use a towel to protect it. My top is up only a handful of days per year, never an issue with being down for extended periods of time.

I like to use a towel to protect the window, also very careful about watching how the top material is folding as the top is being lowered.
