Beverly Hills Car Club???
Looking for in guidance or some first hand experience with Beverly Hills Car Club..
Below is a 911 that I inquired about a couple days ago.
Now some of you might be wondering why I'm inquiring on such a lovely car.... and it checks a few boxes for me. Cheap/Crappy/No remorse. (I want a car I can do what I want
to and not feel bad about it)
I wrote them a short email. Asking 3 questions. In Red is there response word for word.
Is that rust near the windshield?
"There is no rust on the rear windshield"
What are the black circles on hood engine lid?
"That is where the spoiler will go if this vehicle had one"
Any info on why is missing the info in the door jams? (might have elaborated here a bit)
"it is missing the sticker"
I understand I'm looking a car that is 30 years old and there asking 46K for it.
I'm looking for someone that has dealt with them or knows the car... or something.
I know I should walk away.. But I can't help myself.
Any Help would be lovely.
-Keith

They sell a lot of hoopties and have a rep for shady business practices. I would never buy anything from them sight unseen.

From what I recall, they're nowhere near Beverly Hills, either. (East LA?) No FHE, but I don't think I've ever heard anything positive about them. Still, giving the guy the benefit of the doubt, I wouldn't buy from him without personal inspection of the vehicle.

Wow those responses sound like they were written by a young teenager. I feel bad for anyone that gets sucked into a car with replies like that.
If you’re looking for a car you intend to hot rod I would go check out the car and if it meets your criteria then low ball them.

I have to agree with Afshin. If you are looking for a project car this might be the car for you if you can get it for the right price. it has many ??? but I have no doubt full respray most likely original ringless engine and a lot of leaking oil lines. Assuming no accident damage and you don't mind a full rework of everything could be the fixer upper you want. Just don't trust a thing they say and go in with wide open eyes.

A clean c2 will be 65k+
BHCC sells 'driver' cars. They will need work. I have not worked with them myself, but have heard they tend to be pretty open their cars are not collector examples.
As cobalt says, if you don't mind that and are able to see the car live, maybe that works for you.

Funny how asking about rust with a picture of the front windshield results in the answer "There is no rust on the rear windshield"...
Ok, so there must be some on the front then I guess.
