Default Rear Reflector Substitution Panel V3

Here is a sneak peak of the version 3 of the Rear Reflector Substitution Panel. This version "V3R" will be a complete lightweight panel replacement specifically build for motor-sport use and to aid in cooling. It will not have the lights. Take a look.

Thanks!
Andrew

Looks well thought out! What is the material of construction for the red version?

That one part will be red acrylic. Hopefully close to the color of the red OEM lenses.

Thanks!

Once the design is out of prototype phase I will make them as needed.

Thanks!

Andrew—That looks terrific! And a simple design and installation. What’s the hole size?
Put me on your list for one.

Default Rear panel

Won’t help with cooling unless you go in and drill out section of the metal panel that sits behind. There is no natural open access to engine area through the metal cross bracing. The center light replacement is only visual unless modifications to the metal cross brace are made. My 2 cents. Looks cool though.

You are correct. To aid in cooling the engine you must drill holes in the rear panel. The main function of this version is to help evacuate hot air from the primary muffler below in racing applications. To do that you just have to remove the aluminium shield that separates the OEM reflector from the hot air below it.
Second post from the top best shows the location and muffler proximity (https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...install-3.html)

Thanks!
Andrew

Black, Red acrylic, textured, glossy and solid are all considered as an option when configuring this panel. The back bone of all these variations is the frame.

Thanks!
Andrew

Yes, with LED but probably closer to V4.

Thanks!
Andrew
