Yep, its all about what the owner wants/who they know/who they want to pay off. I've seen a brand new GT3 RS burned to a crisp with a clean title, I've seen cars salvaged just because the owner was upside down on his payments and paid off his body shop. I've also seen TONS of rebuilt cars title washed. Inspection tells all. Most reporting bodies to Carfax didn't go mainstream until the late 90s either anyway, so before then, anything goes.

Most expensive piece of plastic, now installed. Expensive new from Porsche but very satisfying, and comes complete with all bulbs/plugs/rubber etc.

satisfying.... indeeed...i would much rather replace it with new than one of those replacement porous metal sheets or any other options....some are nicely done, it is just more 'right' going original, though it is spendy...oh, beautiful car as well...

Thanks, the other set is now for sale. Asking 2900 USD with tires. They are Veloce speedline reps.

That's a very cool color congrats on your purchase agree with you on the branded title occurs for tons of reasons . My recent acquisition of
a C4 '91 GP white MT had an injection fire early in its life one owner California car sat for years before time for repair same story branded...

What could really set your car off would be the RS rear bumper center , I'm putting one on my 965 have a factory unit , not certain why you
intend to sell the wheels they look the business.possible interest if available ..

let me know if possible what kind of front lower lip ? RUF , FVD .? Removing ? Thanks Bert

Thanks for the compliments everyone. Picked up new Cultwerks brake ducts from the paint shop today. See below compared to what was on the car (left is new one; no screw hole, right is old one). Maybe a lot of hassle for such small details but for me it's a must-do. Will pull bumper and mount up tomorrow.

Thanks. I would really like to do the euro/RS rear bumper but a friend told me it was a nightmare to swap on his 964. Let me know how yours goes....if it's easy, I'll do it. Wheels have been sold (going onto a friends 964 Turbo). Front lip is RUF and I will likely remove it to return stock lower pieces (although haven't totally decided yet).

Looks really nice. What did you use for the screen on the Cultwerks one, and how did you mount it? I've had a pair sitting for several months that I still need to work out a solution for, and yours looks good.

I'm also looking at the RS bumper. The main issue I've heard of is the plastic pads on the US bumper bar. Either take them off or find a Euro bumper bar. I'm investigating the latter first.

Congratulations! I really love this maritime blue! Do you happen to know how many were produced in this color? It really looks wonderful.
’63 or ‘64 409/4spd?
