Led H4 bulbs in OEM headlamps
Hello
I would like to know if anyone fitted some LED bulbs in the oem headlamps and if there are any tips regarding the type the size or heat dissipation specific to the 964?
I am considering also to later change the complete headlights for led versions but tought that for the price some LED bulbs could be interesting.
My 964 is an European version that s why I specified H4
Thanks

LEDs don't emit light in the same way that an incandescent bulb does, so LED bulbs aren't going to work well with standard H4 reflectors - that's why all the good LED headlights have projectors.
The retrofit LED bulbs aren't worth your investment.

There are some Philips racingvision bulbs that are supposed to put out more light. Haven’t installed them yet though so can’t say if they are worth the money.

I've tried many H4 lamps, Phillips, etc etc etc, all pretty much the same, and frankly useless.
I bought some LED's from Woodypeck IIRC, not saying his are good/great/better etc, but in mine, the LED's are far and away better than any ordinary incandescent type lamp.
