New Antigravity Battery - DOA

Classic gaslighting at play here. Interesting that you forgot you knew about these batteries when you posted about them in this thread despite your past posts, and that you have a habit of supporting a product that you have no direct experience with.

My issue with all this is the expectation that a "platinum sponsor" gets an unequivocal support from RL community despite customer mistreatment. Paying for the right to advertise gets you only that. How that business conducts itself is for everyone here to know and share.

Thursday received a refund for my remaining item on the order. So just to follow up, my issue is resolved.
On another note, received a set of battery posts in the mail this week and fabbed up a battery mount plate. Battery works!

I am curious why an explanation has not been posted since it appears Antigravity clearly altered text in a legal document and posted it over a month ago. Does Rennlist support this type of behaviour? Does Scott have any explanation or even apology? Is anti-gravity allowed to continue as sponsor? As a service to paying members, I would think Rennlist should hold their sponsors accountable for their behaviour.

Bad customer service can happen, but being in a similar field to the ftc, i knew something was fishy with that line in the letter. No agency would say that as ita standard cya language.
So antigravity, did you alter the letter or not? If not, why the discrepancy? Saying you dont want to engage is pretty weak

As a customer, I’d like to hear the response to the letter fudge. Everyone makes bad decisions sometimes. I’m happy with the product, but there are other options if a company does not appear to be acting in good faith. This is a Porsche forum, I’d like to think we have higher standards for vendors than just competitive pricing.

I agree with -Nick and others. The letter needs to be addressed. If in the heat of the argument, someone altered the letter in support of their argument, then there needs to be a formal and sincere apology and then we can put this matter to rest.

Sad, but many missed the consistent trolling AG and Scott would have in my posts in prior Lithium battery discussions going for almost a full year.. Look under my name for threads/posts. Silly, folks were defending them when I pointed out discrepancies on where production took place, warranties, and another issues.
cancel culture well within the ranks of Rennlist nowadays with those that question a sponsor or one persons superb review.
you want a decent product without paying too much, lookup EarthX.

I can't speak on behalf of Rennlist, but as a 20+ year member, I do share these concerns, and would also like a clear explanation. If I could do more, I would.

My reply to that? So did you in that same time frame.. Please act like one. AG has no place here. Sponsors are folks who we trust, believe in, vet and we promote. Tom's post stands.

Why is everyone asking for an explanation? They obviously got caught lying in the dumbest way possible. Done. I wouldn't give them my business in a million years.

This. Posting a forged federal document constitutes at least two separate five year federal offenses. You’d sooner get a confession from OJ. People are free to buy where they choose. I choose to take my business elsewhere.

For what it’s worth, I have an antigravity battery and it’s awesome. Cranks my 4.0L 12.2 compression ratio motor every time easily. And I have electric aircon and it cranks that too.
Customer service has also been excellent.
Despite all the hoo-ha, I’d strongly recommend them 👍

For me, it is not about the product. It is about the integrity of those behind the product. If they think it is ok to forge a federal document, then I want nothing to do with that company or any product they sell.
