Has anyone tried LED bulbs to replace the xenon in the factory lighting? Just replaced some bulbs in my truck with some and found online ones that supposedly fit the porsche. The kits out there look fantastic but are hell expensive for a poor boy like me.

I did and the light spread is terrible. I very rarely drive at night so that's the plus. I plan to upgrade to Audette Collection headlights in the future.

You can upgrade the standard US spec H5 head lights to the Euro H4's as they give a much brighter output and is a little bit more cost effective.

I think he meant halogen unless his car already has been upgraded to the H4's still not xenon but brighter than the candlesticks they come with

yea im pretty sure ive got the H5 and its been a long while since i replaced the head lamp bulbs. they are the silverstar halogens im thinking now.

There is also the Sylvania ZxE headlight bulbs which i believe is a step up from the Silverstar and I think a more white color light. IF that is what you're looking for.
