The cars are different enough from each other to warrant having both. The 964 has been the only car I have ever owned that I prefer driving over my e46 and I feel my e46 is dialed in.

Beautiful e46. Did you ever sell it on BaT?

Default E46/964 combo

I wonder how common that combination is....got one of the first "demo" E46 M3 in Louisiana...2001 Laguna Seca blue which too has been modified somewhat but sure can be a hand full even stock...and with a red coupe 94 C2 the garage too is full of hp spirit. The M3's engine spins up so fast one must be careful not to over-rev....it really does excel as does the Porsche. Enjoy taking them both out, just finished a trip of 2k with the M3...smooth and comfortable for sure with always ample power to be had at any moment. Originally purchased the C2 in California from the original owner with only 19k on the odometer verified via the dealer and drove it to eastern Missouri in 2006 , currently has near 33k. Both are unique and different at the limits, have had 5 prior 911s and this is the best, Do all the maintenance, my trust in dealers even in Germany is not too good so I learned....and have a "hammer" to help with the electrics. If you have several kids the M3 is the perfect car for 4 while the 964 is tight in the back.

I did not list on BaT yet. I will most likely wait until spring as winter is looming.

I’ve run a lot of Pcars on the track love the 964, but takes a lot of setup and wheeling to run fast. An incredibly fun car to drive at the limits. The M3 is a much easier platform to drive fast and consistently. Far more flexibility with the engine, and they are a lot less precious if you ding it. A fender is $50 not $500, and a motor is a third the cost….

New graphics on the E46…
