I've got FVD's RS replica seats. Love them, but they are very snug. I'm told they are the exact spec of the original RS seat.

Like your seats - look good, the transitional colored pads works well.

Wow some very nice seats.

Nothing exciting for mine just the original sport seats.

i wouldn't downplay the factory sport seats. mine came delivered with them and i wouldn't change them for anything else. i think they're some of the best seats porsche made for the earlier cars.

This thread is relevant to my interests – debating recovering my current non-sport seats (wear isn't bad overall but there is a small tear in the butt area), vs. getting something like Recaro Classic LX or trying to find sport seats to recover.

Actually my 993, Cobra Nogaros. These are great seats for anyone over 6’ that struggles with Pole Positions and the low harness holes.

The seat was recently redesigned with a narrower base that actually fits between the 964/993 seat rails. That means more head room. And the shoulder harnesses are higher up than the pole positions.

You can custom order these from Cobra in any leather and color you choose. They offer heated seats as well.

I have the below seats I bought from Justin Placek. in my C2. Wonderful quality. My kids can still fit in the back seat but a move to Porsche sport seats may be in the future when thats no longer possible.

@Canuck964 I had these in my 95' 993. I agree with others: these seats are great! They look like they could use a serious "Leatherique" treatment. Transforms them. I've done many seats with all excellent results. Keeps them hydrated and supple.

If you don’t mind the weight the cloth sports seat are really comfortable and lots of grip from the bolsters. . I have a set in my RSA which are pretty rare but you could get a set of worn sports seats and recover in a similar or custom cloth, the cloth grips much better than leather.. That said I am taking mine out and storing as they are really heavy, I am going with a carbon fiber bucket for weight savings.

i remember when i had my RSA how much i was impressed by those seats. the lower back area grip is simply amazing. you pretty much have to adjust your clothes before driving off, as you really can't slide around and adjust after the fact.

for factory seats, the RSA sports are fantastic.

I have the factory sport seats and like how they fit, although I think the leather could be refreshed with Napa grade material.
